Oh, for the love of Frodo, thank the Lord of the Rings for Chanel!

Coco was exactly what I needed today to change my betoken of view.

Despite my best efforts to auto-correct, all calendar week long I felt disheveled, disorganized and undisciplined (company visiting from out of town plus the trip last weekend = completely overwhelmed). I think I'm finally getting my sh*t together again, thank you in no small part to Chanel.

This morning I took Coco'south Holiday 2011 collection out for a spin, and where did nosotros get?

Here's a hint: it's where Mango Bars and Broiled Cheese Crunchies come from. 🙂 Some folks call it Trader Joe'due south.

Assistance yourself

One of the iii holiday tutorials up now on Chanel'southward website inspired me, but since I didn't have Ligne Extreme in Or (the liquid golden eyeliner) or the Poudre Universelle Libre setting powder, I improvised with some of the other pieces from the vacation collection and incorporated a couple of other things from MAC and NARS.

Eyes

• Chanel Ombres Contraste Duo in Noir-Ivoire (chapeau)
• Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Blazing Golden (lower lash line)

• Chanel Inimitable Intense mascara (upper and lower lashes)
• MAC Concrete Eyeshadow (brows)

Cheeks

• Chanel Les Tissages de Chanel in Tweed Rose (apples)
• Chanel Lumiere Sculptee de Chanel Highlighting Pulverization (upper cheek basic)

Lips

• Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in Triomphal

Now I'one thousand off to Petco covered in Chanel! You-know-who wants me to go him a 2nd backup costume for Halloween, merely in case his primary costume, which I'm nonetheless under instructions (and a non-disclosure agreement) not to share, and his fill-in costume (last yr's yellow submarine) don't work out.

Big sigh… An assistant'south work is never done.
